Hey Bookfam!
Only 4 months left for the new year to begin! Can you believe it? I have read quite a few books till now and intend to read so many more. Ahh, the never ending TBR! But reading challenges always help. Although a little late, a got to know about the Blogchatter #TBRchallenge and there has been no going back. Thoroughly enjoying the process indeed.
I have read quite a few Indian authors and poets this year and that was one of my major goals, which I see getting fulfilled. From JCB Literature winning book- The Far Field by Madhuri Vijay to fun engaging content like How to live your life by Ruskin Bond, I explored many options.
Poetry has been a major contributor to fit into my hectic schedule like The Nirvanic Heart by Dr. Aswin Shaji and A Leaf upon a book by Anam Tariq. All these have been great reads for me. Poetry is definitely great for those who wish to get back into reading.
Some amazing thrillers and suspense novels I have read were The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid, which lived up to the hype and Indian authors Devashish Sardana and Nitya Ravi, shook me with their impeccable writing styles in The Girl in the glass case and The woman within, respectively.
Touching upon various social issues and black-white dynamics, The Help by Kathyrn Stockett has been a wonderful read, which was also one of my most annotated books this year, till now.
